Over the years...
I had a wonderful opportunities to work on many Hollywood movies as a Visual Effects artist, in a very highly stressful productions, long hours - 10 to 12 hour days or even longer on tight deadlines that are due on theatrical release dates...
It was exhausting mental work, but at the same time, It was exciting to work with highly talented visual effect artists who love to shares their creativities and knowledges with others. And at the same time, it was amazing to work under guidance of directors and very talented visual effect supervisors.
For me, I was lucky to have work with Nathan McGuinness (creative director and visual effects supervisor) for many years, His happy energy and creativity was most amazing.
Someone asked me,
"Who was the famous person you met?"
I did not meet many famous actors, but I have gotten to meet and work with many talented artists, behind the screen...
While working at Disney Feature, I met Disney's Legendary Animator Ollie Johnston, at his house.
In dust settled mini railroad tracks on his kitchen floor and his wife Marie dancing while cooking,
I saw amazing artist who share his drawings and experiences that he had with Walt Disney.
Ollie Johnston was a happiest artist that I met...
Actually, I can say same thing about all the Visual Effects Artists.
In Between the movies, I have worked on many fun commercials.
